English Walnut 07

My little but really strong sister send me this piece of English Walnut from a tree in Provo, Utah. It is a nice little open bowl. Thanks Sherry.

Black Walnut 06

My father cut down a black walnut tree many years ago. Much of the wood was left behind after he passed away in 2004. I turned this piece in 2007. It is highly figured and is really beautiful.

Christmas Tree 06

My son challenged me to turn a Christmas Tree. What was he thinking? Well, here it is. Turned from Desert Ironwood. Stands 4" tall.

California Pepper 08-102

Hollow Form - 8" x 8". This was a fun piece to turn. It is very light and has a lot of cracks which adds a lot of character to the piece.

African Sumac 07-079

Hollow form bowl with turquoise inlay. 5" high by 8" wide. After completing this piece I put it in the sun for a few hours and the wood turned this pretty red. This piece now resides in China.
