Hollow Form - 8" x 8". This was a fun piece to turn. It is very light and has a lot of cracks which adds a lot of character to the piece.

- My father and I used to harvest wood destined for the fireplace. Later in life he started a hobbie turning that same wood into beautiful wood turnings. Since my father passed away I decided to start the same hobbie turning wood on the same lathe my father used.

I love this piece. When you first brought it into the room to show me, you handed it to me and it nearly bounced out of my hands to the floor. Looking at the wood, I was expecting it to be heavy and solid, and I was very surprised to find it was so light. I think that makes this piece that much more special. I love all your work!
